Schattengeist's target is not terribly important, and with Geistbeuger or not, you want to cast it as often as possible. Massenbannung's cooldown does not need to be watched, so it should be bound to a modifier+key. Stille is a spell you need to watch its cooldown at all times, so it should to be visible close to your radius of attention. PS: If you are curious of the rationale behind it, I have thought about it with my experience. In any case, the macro will try to cast Schattengeist on your target, or on the nearest enemy if it cannot be casted on your target. Press the macro: Stille the nearest enemy If targeting a friend or not targeting anything Press the macro while mouse-overing an enemy: Stille the mouseover

Kommentar von PhashaThis is an elaborate macro I use as a discipline priest to combine Stille, Massenbannung, and Schattengeist into one key: It's a joke enough that Shadow gets locked down I can still use Mind Spike and Mana Burn, but lol on this one. Ooh, that's gonna leave a lot of time for clutch interrupting.ĭarn, my Holy tree gets locked down if someone gets me in the 0.5 second window despite latency issues! And I'm a Shadow Priest! How can I ever function without a Holy tree for a maximum of 8 seconds! SHOOT I might have to use a different school. Really, I don't get how NOT taking away all the defensive dispels makes a whole lot of sense in the design scheme of "non-specced healers not having dispels" if you leave a 0.5s Mass Dispel in the design? what's the problem again? I'm pretty sure Shadow Priests can deal with a VERY minor mana nerf. it will barely affect the matchups at all except in mana efficiency and discourage the use with UA targets in the Affliction matchup, which needed a buff IMO anyways? the end result is you could accidentally dispel UA or Lifebloom in able to remove a HoJ / Deep Freeze / Polymorph / Fear? but you can still use Mass Dispel defensively, it just costs more and has a 0.5s cast time with a glyph. they are taking the defensive dispel away from Dispel Magic. Kommentar von CrimefridgeSomething I don't get. It is feared by many a mage and paladin on the opposite faction because it can remove immunities, but don't let that stop you from. Of course, I'd occasionally hit a UA or vampiric touch, but priests who dispel UA dont talk about priests who dispelled UA. I got rid of dozens of fortitude, spirit, and mark of the wild buffs, along with several dots, hots, a few arcane powers, and even the occasional immunity. There have been many a turtling AVs that have turned the tide on because I would show up and cast 8 or 9 mass dispels on a combination of ally and horde players. Specing this way pretty much turns you into the ultimate groupwise debuffer, and if there is ever a situation where it is a giant group vs another giant group a few mass dispels will tilt the scales in your favor very quickly. You need Focused Power, Absolution, and the Glyph of Mass Dispel to get here. Kommentar von 425091When glyphed and talented appropriately, Mass Dispel has a 0.5s or less cast time and costs 637 mana at level 80.
